Pirin Golf and Country Club near Razlog Officially Opened Doors

Pirin Golf & Country Club located in Betlovoto Site officially opened doors these days, the mayor of Razlog municipality, Lyuben Tatarski stated in front of a BTA reporter. This is the largest and the only one golf course of a mountain type so far.
Pirin Golf & Country Club had the chance to host one of the most important contests in this year’s Bulgarain Golf Association Events Calendar - the State National Golf Amateurs Championship two weeks ago.

The new golf complex, which is to be enlarged in future, is owned by Balkanstroy joint-stock company. According to the executive director of the company, Nikolay Kaloyanov, more than 60 million Levas have already been invested in the project. The construction of Pirin Golf & Country Club started three years ago on the project of the legendary golf player Yan Woosnam.

When finished the luxurious club will offer 5 star hotel complex services, two Championship golf courses, one of the modernist golf academies in Eastern Europe, seven restaurants and bars, trade centres and many opportunities for sports and recreation.
