"Devin Golf Open" was Held at Pirin Golf and Country Club

On July 31st Pirin Golf & Country Club hosted the first amateur golf tournament DEVIN Golf Open. Most of the participants arrived on Friday and immediately started practicing oh the Practice area and on the course, stimulated by the attractive prizes provided by the sponsor.
The great interest in the event and the competition proves the effort in developing and promoting golf in Bulgaria, one of the reasons of “Devin- water from the mountain” to join the aristocratic sport.
45 Bulgarian and foreign golfers attended the competition, among them representatives of the foreign embassies in Bulgaria. Among the participants and winners was the Slovak Ambassador Karol Mistrik.

The prize giving ceremony was held at the Club house by Lora Karasimeonova- Brand Manager of DEVIN and Manya Kosanova- Marketing Manager of Pirin Golf & Country Club. The sponsors surprised the winners with the attractive prizes – Weekend for Two ate Pirin Golf & Country Club, a voucher for a relaxing massage and golf play / 9-holes / on the championship golf course.

The winner in division A Dimitar Radev thanked the sponsors and organizers for the unique competition “ I would like to take at least 2 dozens of the mineral water that brought me good luck today” said the winner. Second is ranked Radoslav Rashev with 37 net Stableford points followed by Radko Stoinev with 36 points.

First place in division B won the young man and participant in the Summer Golf Camp for Children Bojidar Spassov with 40 net Stableford points, followed by Viktor Pis. Third place won the Executive Director of Balkanstroy Kostadin Kaloyanov who gave up the price to the Slovak Ambassador Karol Mistrik ”It is not fare to win special prize on a tournament at Pirin” said Kostadin Kaloyanov.

First place in division C won Trifon Siderov with 41 net Stableford points, followed by Anton Panayotov and the representative of the ladies Angelinka Kojuharova.

The Brand Manager of Devin said that it was the first golf tournament but it will not be the last one, We hope that it will become a tradition.
