Stella Artois Professional Golf Series Sends Three Bulgarian Golf Players to Euro 2008

Nikolay Stanev, David Ediford and Neal Turley are the three best professional golf players, who took part in Stella Artois Professional Golf Series. The finals of the unique golf tournament took place this weekend on the golf courses of Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort and BlackSeaRama, near Balchik.

The three professional players deserved the prestigious rewards, after they showed virtuosity in the aristocratic sport and won the largest number of points in all of the three contests, which were organized within the framework of Stella Artois Professional Golf Series. The award of the winners is to present Bulgaria at the European Championship in Spain, which will take place in November this year. The winners did also receive honored statues from Stella Artois, as well as beer of the prestigious Belgian brand.

Stella Artois is exclusive partner of the golf championship, organized by the Professional Golf Association (PGA). Stella Artois Professional Golf Series is the first of a kind golf tournament, whick gives opportunities to both professional golf players and amateurs.
Te series took place for the period July – October and gathered 230 participants together. 30 of them are professional golf players, while the others are amateurs, who had taken the challenge to participate in the unique contest.
