Luxurious brands Bulgarian wine will be presented at “Dionisiopolis 2009” in Balchik on the Black sea

The first edition of “Dionisiopolis’ 2009” will take place in the Palace in Blachik from 12 – 14th June 2009, announced the mayor of Balchik, Nikolai Angelov. 10 wine cellars are invited to participate in the prestigious event. They will present the best Bulgarian wines. 20 brands of wine will be presented, mainly “Rose”. Top sommeliers will assess the quality of the wines.

A special wine dinner is included in the program of the event. Special selected dishes will be served with the appropriate wines. The event will be accompanied with a lot of entertainment, renaissance and baroque style music and culture events.

The exhibition will be closed by a photo exhibition.
Te main idea of the event is to promote the region as a destination for wine tourism. The wine festival will be unique for the amazing atmosphere of the Palace. The name of the festival was provoked by the ancient name of Balchik – Dionisiopolis.
