Bulgaria will be presented at 43 tourism fairs around the world this year

Bulgaria will be presented at 43 tourism fairs around the world in 2012. The Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism announces a program for the state participation in fairs. Bulgaria will participate in the most important exhibitions in Europe - ITB Berlin, Intourmarket and Mitt in Moscow, UITT and WTM in London.

Bulgarian tourism will be presented also in Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Paris, Tokio, etc.

The rose festival in Kazalnak will be held for more than a month

The traditional rose festival in Kazanlak will be held from 19 may to 24th July this year. This year the festival will be transformed into a multi-style Festival of nature, traditions and art in Kazalnak.

The event will start on 19th May with “OpeRose” - a mini festival dedicated to Emanuil Manolov – author of the first Bulgarian opera, written for the Kazanlak Opera theatre. The festive program of Kazanlak will offer music for everyone – all fans of ethno, jazz and camera music, open air...

Magurata cave and the Belogradchik rocks will be connected by a tourism route

The construction of a tourism route between Magurata and the Belogradchik rock has started last summer.

The route with a total length of 13 km will start from Bela village and will reach Belogradchik. According to the regional governor of Vidin this will be the main tourism route for visits to Magurata cave, the Rabisha lake and the Belogradchik rocks.

At the moment the regional administration is working over the idea for a united tourism product in Vidin region.

Sourvakars chased away the evil in Pernik

The residents of tens of villages in Penik, Radomir, Zemen and Kovachevitsa regions had a magical weekend. According to the tradition during the night between 13th and 14th January the magic of sourva gathers masked people in the region. Hundreds of torches illuminated the night, fires were lighted to burn all the evil, thunderous noise of heavy belles and scary masks chased away the evil.
