Bulgaria became a partner of the international annual tourism fair ITF SlovakiaTour 2007.
The fair would be held from January 18 to 21 2007 in Slovakia\'s capital of Bratislava, Focus news agency reported.

The first eco-innovation hotel in Southeastern Europe will be constructed in the Bulgarian village of Zdravkovets.
Hilltop hotel will feature wind mills, local purifying devices and the utilisation of rainwater. A monitoring system will indicate the quantity of electricity produced and consumed at the hotel, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.

More than five million foreign tourists visited Bulgaria in 2006, breaking a new record for the country, officials announced in Stuttgart.

The number of tourist visits to Bulgaria in 2006 is nearly seven per cent higher than the number of visits for 2005, deputy head of the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) Stanislav Novakov said.
