A post stamp with the Madara Horseman will be released this Thursday on the occasion of the 30th anniversary since the rock relief was put on the UNESCO world heritage list. The stamp will be promoted by Bulgaria's Minister of Culture Stefan Danailov. The jubilee celebration will close on Friday with a concert of virtuoso violin player Mincho Minchev.

The summer season in Bansko was officially opened yesterday on 24th May. The opening coincided with the traditional holidays of Bansko’s traditions and folklore festival for authentic songs.

The festival program will continue with the summer theatre festival form 01 – 07 July in Bansko. Guests and residents of the resort will be able to observe the best spectacles for the season.

The newest attraction now offered in the unique Belogradchick rocks are buggy and biking tours. This was announced by the local authorities.

Every tourist can hire a buggy for 60 BGN. The tour lasts 1,5 hours and includes 25 kilometres along a special route. The tour starts form the centre of Belogradchik from the “Panairishte” site, passess through the Izvоz village, the “Krupets” site and back.
