The legend Joe Lynn Turner, the vocal of the cult band of mid 70’s RAINBOW, arrives for a free concert in Kavarna on September 5th.

The University Botanical Garden in Balchik on the Northern Black Sea coast, offers new attractions to nature lovers.

On 15 August the town of Kalofer, Central Bulgaria, played host for the 10th time to a Lacework Festival.
Collections of Kalofer lace were displayed and an open-air bazaar was organized in the town.
Lace knitting was introduced in Kalofer in the early 20 c. as a way to boost the town’s economy.
In 1910 the first specialized school opened with a focus on shuttle Brussels lace. Based on a dozen imported plaits, the Kalofer masters of the trade created 110 original ones.

"The Middle Ages in Bulgarian history are not 'dark'". More than 150 musicians from 20 countries attend the 12th edition of the Bansko Jazz Festival. The event will spread until August 13, featuring Russia’s Igor Butman, James Davies – USA, Bulgarian jazz singer Kamelia Todorova, prominent jazz musicians from Holland, Israel, Egypt, Germany, Austria and other countries. Organizers expect at least 20 thousand people in Bansko during the six days of the jazz festival.
