World famous bands from the near past Europe, Eruption, Supermax, Hot Chocolate and Hermes House Band will come to Bulgaria in May 2007.
They will all take part in the Lovech Music Fest from May 6 to 11, avtora.com said.
All concerts during the fest will be free of charge for visitors.

Bulgaria’s famous bands Shtourtsite, Familiya Tonika, Mastilo and BTR will also take part in the fest. Only Shtourtsite will stage a separate concert. They will open the fest on May 6.

Thirty plots with total area of 260 acres in the region of Bosilkovo, Davidkovo, Zagrajden, Riben dol villages have been bought by a Bulgarian-Irish company. The contractors intend to invest more than BGN 100 million in the construction of summer houses and chalets, spa centre and a small oil refinery to produce essential oils of thyme, juniper, raspberry, black currant.

The project “On the road of the Thracians” of the Zlatograd municipality has won 190 000 euro from the Phare program - crossborder collaboration. The town applied for the subsidy together with its fraternized town of Hrisopulis in Greece, said the vice-mayor of Zlatograd Krasimir Mladenov.

The number of tourists who visit the Rhodope Mountains village of Gela increased significantly since the village was pronounced to be the birthplace of mythical musician Orpheus. In March 2005 local authorities put a welcoming sign at the entrance of the village. The sign said Welcome To Orpheus’ Birthplace. Local authorities also started promoting the village in various tourism websites.
