The Municipality of Banite village develops a project for the protection of threatened animals, birds and plants. The existing eco routes will be renovated and several new trails will be promoted this year.

Six new eco trails will take the visitors to the local landmarks of the village. The project of the Zagrazhdenska eco path has been already finalized. It was started in 2007. The route is provided with great variety of facilities, which help to overcome the hardest sections of the terrain....

The first tourists to visit Sunny Beach this summer will arrive by the end of April.

Most of them will arrive form the Scandinavian countries and will stay in four and five star hotels. Tourists from Denmark and Italy confirmed holiday in Nessebar, St. Vlas and Sozopol.

According to official data 8 700 000 tourists visited Bulgaria last year.

A total of EUR 20 million will be pinvested into the airport in Bulgaria’s Black Sea city of Varna, said Andreas Helfer, general executive director of concessionaire Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, which manages also Bourgas airport under a 35-year concession arrangement.

Half of the sum will be spent on the construction of a new passenger terminal, which should get underway within months and will not be affected by the global financial meltdown.
