Varshets Spa and Wellness


Location: Varshets spa and wellness resort is the biggest and the most famous climatic resort in Northern Bulgaria. It is situated just 90 km away from Sofia and is easy accessible from Vratsa, Montana and Berkovitsa.

The resort is situated 400 m above the sea level in a lovely valley, amidst a picturesque 800 dka forest park. The climate is temperate continental with a slight mountain influence.

Mineral springs: The mineral water in the resort is acratothermal, alkaline, hydro-carbonate-sulphate-sodium with temperature about 37 ̊ C, mild and tasty for drinking.

Indications for medical treatment:

- Nervous system complaints: radiculitis, neuritis, plexitis, polyneuritis, post heart attack state and cerebral sclerosis;
- Cardio-vascular system complaints, hyperthonia, ischemia, myocardium heart attack, hypothonia;
- Locomotive system complaints: arthrosis, illness of Behterev, gout arthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis of the joint apparatus, post fracture state;
- Well influenced are some indigestion, bilious-liver complaints, and complaints of the excretory system.
- Gynecological complaints, endocrine and metabolism complaints, dermatological and othtalmological complaints, as well as some intoxication.
