Three are the main factors for the development of a winter resort: runs, terrains and climate conditions, stated the best Bulgarian competitor on ski alpine discipline Peter Popangelov.
Nowadays ithe importance of the climate falls down, while the facilities for making artificial snow are compensating the bad weather conditions.

The ski runs are three of a kind: blue, red and black.

The blue tracks are for beginners, the red ones are for tourists that already can ski and the black runs...

A fully technical attendance in Borovets ski resort goes. Maintaining works last till the 1 of December. This was announced by Deyan Nikolov, the assistant director of Borosport Technical Department. There are no damages on the cable cars and other facilities, and everything will be ready till the end of November.

There will be 12 % more visitors this season compared to the previous one. The total length of the slopes is 42 km, including ski centres Borovets, Yastrebets and Markudjik....

The first plane of “EasyJet”, the leading European budget airline, landed in Sofia, Bulgaria. Traditionally the first passengers were met, according to the Bulgarian customs – with bread and salt. At the same time the first passangers, taking off from Bulgaria to London were happy to try from a large cake in the shape of “EasyJet” Plane.

The largest part of the passengers (62%) took the flight to London to visit friends and families. The survey also shows 14 % were going on vacation and 24 %...

Ferry Group starts Katina Golf Resort project which was declared the first official playmate of the European Commission in Bulgaria in the Steady Development project.

Today Ferry Group officially announced the beginning of the project after the company took the construction license few days ago. Now the Spanish investor is in the making of the ground breaking ceremony.

Bulgaria's Chepelare winter resort in the Rhodopi Mountain will open the new winter season with four new hotels with 300 beds and a vacation village of 10 houses.

Subi Madankov, head of the hotel and restaurant owners union in Smolyan, said that with the new lodgings, Chepelare would be able to host 1600 tourists at a time.

In winter season 2007/2008, in Chepelare two centres for biathlon with ski runs of one, two and three km, would be opened, Focus news agency reported.
