Pravets Golf Course – official opening in May 2011

Pravets Golf Club official opening will be held on 14 and 15 May, 2011.

The complex announced open doors day on May, 15. Famous people from worlds golf industry like Peter Haradin, architect of the championship course with 18 holes and Ian Randall, general manager of PGAs of Europe will take part of the event.

Easter skiing in Bansko

Easter Surprise – Yet another snowy weekend on the slopes in Bansko

The new fresh snow that surprised us few days ago made it possible for all keen skiers and snowboarders to enjoy another long ski weekend on the slopes in Bansko. Everyone is invited to spend the Easter holidays in Bansko. The gondola lift, as well as the two part of the height speed quad from Banderishka polyana to Todorka, together with the new high speed quad will be operating in the ski zone.

Summer charter flights starts at Bourgas Airport

Today is the official opening of the summer charter flights season in Bourgas Airport.

The management welcomed a flight from Tel Aviv with 170 tourists on board. The first Israel tourist group arrived in Bourgas Airport last week.

Israel tourists are attract from the casinos and low prices in Bulgarian Black Sea resorts. The Airport management expects 5% rising of tourists compared with 2010.

Tourists can travel with regular flights from Bourgas to Oslo, London and Moscow.

Bulgaria second Best-Value Eastern Destination for British Tourists

Bulgaria is the second best-value destination for British tourists for Easter 2011.

Spain offered best value-for-money for 10 typical holiday items in a table of 14 popular tourist destinations compiled by Post Office Travel Money as cited by the Press Association.

The survey found the 10 items, including cigarettes, beer and suncream, came to GBP 42.15 in Spain, they were GBP 77.01 in Brighton and as much as GBP 92.81 in Miami, Florida, which was the most expensive...

Bulgaria sees more foreign tourists in 2011

The number of foreign tourists who visited Bulgaria in the first two months of 2011 grew by 6%, year-on-year.

According to Ivo Marinov, Deputy Minister of Economy, who is in charge of tourism, in January-February, Bulgaria saw more tourists from Greece, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Macedonia, the UK and Russia. The visas issued to Russian tourists in January were 50% more than in the same month of last year.
