During the last two years the number of Russian tourists in Bulgaria has increased and they have become an important part of the Bulgarian tourism market, said Marin Neshkov - Chairman of the Varna Chamber of Tourism, quoted by Radio "Focus - Varna".
Tourists form Germany and UK also form a major group.
The number of tourists from Serbia and Macedonia, has also increased after the fall of visa.
Specialists expect a 10% increase in the number of tourists for 2011.

Golf courses in Bulgaria may bring income of 60 million leva in the short term. This was said Peter Walten and Carleton Carugatiand on the the conference of the President and the General Manager of the International Golf Association of the Tour Operators.
According to them, Bulgaria is a golf destination of high perspectives. The whole vision of the country as a tourist destination may be changed due to golf course possibilities.

Bulgaria will appoint a tourism attache in Germany, it was announced Tuesday.
Currently, the post is open to competition, deputy Economy Minister Ivo Marinov said during a meeting between the Ministry's trade representatives abroad and the Bulgarian business.

Cultural and spa activities are considered the most attractive forms of tourism among the foreign tourists in Bulgaria, according to a poll conducted by Synesta Consortium.
In contrast, Bulgarians most frequently visit relatives or travel to the country during their summer breaks, the poll shows.
Foreigners spend between EUR 70 and EUR 90 per day on average in Bulgaria's resorts and usually stay 9-10 days, while locals spend just EUR 19-EUR 25 daily and stay 5-6 days.
