European standards for the beach in Albena

Bulgarian Black sea resort Albena already has a certificate for 15 years holder of the prize "Blue Flag". The Albenas beach is the fourth in Bulgaria and the hundred in the world awarded with this certificate.

Free of charge sun umbrellas in the central beach of Bourgas

In the summer 2011 the central beach of Bourgas offers tourists free of charge umbrellas and sun beds. Beach sport lovers can use some of the playgrounds for free.

Bourgas municipality is the new owner of the central beach. Medical staff and 11 lifeguards will take care for the security of the tourists until the middle of September.

Culinary Exhibition for the Fest of Bread

For the second year in the village of Orizare is celebrating Fest of Bread.

From now on part of the fest is a culinary exhibition where local people will show their talent in bread producing.

Delicious breads will be exposed on a long table. “Fest of Bread” is celebrating in Orizare village since 2010. The years before it was celebrating in the old town of Nesseber.

Kyustendil hosts a conference of cultural tourism

From 6 to 8 of July in the town of Kyustendil/ will held international conference “Approximation of cultural corridor Sofia - Ohrid - Cultural Tourism without Borders”.

The idea is cultural tourism to be without any borders and based on common cultural and historical roots of the people.

Priest and Whitesnake to Rock Sofia with 80 Tons of Steel

Bulgarian capital Sofia is preparing for the massive Sofia Rocks festival Friday featuring as headliners heavy metal legislators Judas Priest with special guests rock icons Whitesnake.

Support comes from a varied array of bands in the mellower and heavier register of rock, from Mike & the Mechanics, to UK heavy metal veterans Saxon, to US glam rockers Slade.

80 tons of steel have already be brought for the 40 by 20 m stage that is being erected at the Balgarska Armiya (CSKA)...
