Traditional Bulgarian crafts in Historical museum - Pernik

Historical museum in Pernik will celebrate the Children day on 1st of June with exposition of authentic Bulgarian crafts. Visitors can rounding a wheel and crating vessels.

Museum visitors will be able to wear clothes, ear with bone needle.

Lovers of authentic traditions will have an opportunity to weave on a loom and to produce ointments and salves for beauty and health.

Karlovo Rose Festival 2011

Over 250 guests form Japan, Holland, Italy and the USA attend the Rose fest in Karlovo. They were able to attend the rose picking ritual, as well as rose rakia tasting.

The festivals will continue next weekend when Kazanlak will welcome guests from all over for the world.

Sofia Opens New Museums

“A Museum of the Bulgarian Contemporary Art will be inaugurated within days in Sofia, reported Sofia Mayor,” Yordanka Fandakova. It is constructed on EU financing and is located in proximity to Earth and People Museum in Southern Park. Some of the exhibits will be placed in the open in the museum’s garden. Within a month a Museum of Totalitarian Art will be opened in Darvenitsa neighbourhood, Sofia.

Sunny Beach introduces SMS parking fees

The biggest Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach announced the introduction of parking SMS fees just as the high summer season is about to kick off.

As of May 30, all who want to pay their parking fees in a hassle-free way have to send a text message to number 135544 for subscribers of the three mobile operators Mtel, Globul and Vivacom.
