Aeroflot starts flying free WW II veterans to former battlefields

The Aeroflot-Russian Airlines Company will fly free veterans of the Great Patriotic War, 1941-1945, between May 3 and 12 in line with the traditional action “To former battlefields of glory” on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The filling-out of fare documents, started on April 25, will last till May 12 inclusive, Itar-Tass learnt at the air company press service.

Tourism season in Plovdiv started with festive manifestation

Festive manifestation to the Old town in Plovdiv and the Ancient Theater will be held on May, 12 in case of the official start of tourism season in 2011.

The festival will started with ritual Thracian dances performed by folklore ensemble “Thracia” in front of the Tourism information center in Plovdiv.

Beginners' Program in St. Sofia Golf Club

St. Sofia Golf Club organized six months training program for beginners. The program starts on May, 09.

Golf instructor will train participants in six group lessons about the basic practices and rules like posture, swoop and removal of the ball to the hole.

There is and a train program for those who want “BGA – Green card” which allows to practice the game in all the Bulgarian and European courses.

Moto Fest “Bakadjik” 2011 near Yambol

For the twelfth time Moto Club Red Riders MC organized the traditional Moto Fest “Bakadjik”. The event will be held in the area Bakadjik near Yambol on 06 – 08 May 2011.

Part of the events are Stunt Bike Show and Drag Rase. Competition between stunt men in “Tenevo” track will start at 01:00 PM on May, 7.
