Info Center opened doors at terminal “Arrived” in Bourgas Airport. For the forth year the tourists can take information about the sites and tourism options in Bourgas region during their summer holiday.

Because of the increased interest in Bourgas this year there is an expectations for successful summer season.

More than 200 Bulgarian and foreign golfers participated in the first edition of Mercedes Trophy in Bulgaria on May, 21.

Bulgaria will broadcast its first representative team in the world golf tournament for amateurs.

The tournament will take palace on 21, 22 and 23 May at the three courses around the cape Kaliakra - Thracian Cliffs, BlackSeaRama and Lighthouse. National finals will be played in Pirin Golf & Country Club on 25 June.

A total of 1.2% of the EU citizens planning holiday have chosen Bulgaria as their main holiday destination, including domestic trips, according to the latest Eurobarometer study on the bloc's attitudes towards tourism.

This makes the Balkan country the 13th most popular destination, together with Croatia and the Netherlands. Italy was the most frequently mentioned planned holiday destination for 2011 (11.5%). Spain came second with 8.6% followed by France (8.2%). 23% of EU residents have not...

Ancient temple was discover at the cape Scamni in Sozopol. The archaeologists suggest it is the temple of the Greek goddess Demeter and her daughter Persephone. In the temple were found statues and antique vessels painted with the face of the Goddess Demeter.

The sanctuary is located near the medieval imperial monastery of St. Apostles and the 20 000 martyrs. Last week here was found a funeral of a man.

Bulgaria and Romania together realized the project “The path of the water - natural and cultural-cognitive routes for sustainable tourism” worth 604 thousand Euro. It is a part of the program Cross Border Cooperation Bulgaria - Romania 2007-2013.

Logo of the tourist brand "Euro region Lower Danube” will be choose with competition. Tourist guides and geographical information system are part of the activities in this project.
