Local company Terra Tour Service has announced plans to invest 71.8 mln levs in a golf resort near the city of Pravets. Northern Bulgaria.

The project will be granted a First Class Investor certificate by the InvestBulgaria Agency, the local investment promotion authority

Terra Tour Service is managed by Vasil Zlatev, father of Lukoil Bulgarian executive director Valentin Zlatev.

The 60 ha resort will comprise a PGA-level course, clubhouse and 35 villas.

State Agency of Tourism participates in the biggest professional expo of congress tourism in Frankfurt am Main.
IMEX is the biggest expo in the world, dedicated to congress holidays and intended only for professional public.

Danish property developer TK Development to invest 50 mln euro in a retailer center in Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, said municipal PRO Svetlana Kostadinova.

The completed mall-type development will either be sold off or leased, said Kostadinova after a meeting between Pleven deputy mayor Valentin Mateev and top executives from the Danish corporation.

TK Development has asked the municipality to provide a suitable land plot with a well-trafficked location close to the city.

The Bulgarian Association for Business and Tourist Information (BABTI) is in a search for a symbol of Bulgaria. BABTI’s goal is to make Bulgaria recognisable abroad, with an image that differs from the one created by some Western media, BABTI said.

Scientific exploration of the Roman city of Nove, located near the town of Svishtov, will begin in June 2007.
One of the Bulgarian teams to work on the site will arrive in June. A team from Sofia University and one from the Warsaw University should arrive later, Focus news agency reported.


Exploration began in 1960, when a Bulgarian- Polish team started inspecting the region near Svishtov, where the Roman city is located.
