Three Golf Courses and an Airport Planned near Sozopol, Bulgaria

Three golf courses and an airport will be constructed near Sozopol Beach Resort in Bulgaria. This is foreseen by the new structure plan of the town.

The terrains for the golf courses will be located between the villages of Ravna Gora and Izvor. Each golf course will be constructed on a plot of approximately 1000 decares. Builder GBS eyes Rila highway project

Glavbolgarstroy (GBS), one of Bulgaria's biggest construction companies, is gearing to build Rila motorway, which will provide speedy access from the capital to the winter resort of Borovets and tie it to Struma, Trakia and Hemus highways.

The news was announced by the holding company’s executive director, Kalin Peshov, at a public-private partnership conference held by Utilities Services and sponsored by Holding Patishta.

Bulgaria to receive 107M EUR under FP "Fishery"

The acceptance of documents under the functional program “Fishery” within which Bulgaria will receive nearly 107 million euro from the European Union starts today.

The program for support of the fishery field till 2013 will be officially opened by the minister of agriculture and food Valeri Tsvetanov.

The aim of the program is to secure sustainable development of the fishery branch, to develop the fish products market and to improve the quality of life in the fishing regions....

Bulgaria’s 1st strip mall to open in Bourgas

Bulgarian retail developer ZBS said it will take wraps off the country’s first open-air shopping mall in 2010.

The Strand shopping centre should open doors in Burgas, on the northern Black Sea coast.

Stores in open-air malls line pedestrian walkways in an area complete with recreation places. The shopping centres have lower construction and maintenance costs than regular malls permitting smaller rental prices, the investor said.
