For several years now, summer in Bulgaria can't go without some hard rock evenings at the famous Kaliakra Rock Fest.

After bringing Halloween, Twisted Sister, Heaven and Hell, Motorhead and Manowar this time the organisers managed to attract Alice Cooper, Slayer, In Flames and Holyhell. Manowar and Sixth Sense, on the other hand, liked it so much here last year, that they decided to drop by again.

A new golf and resort complex for EUR 500 M called "Wild Rose" will be constructed close to the town of Straldzha in southeast Bugaria.

The huge resort complex will be able to accommodate about 20 000 visitors. According to the investor Solas Nua Ltd from the UK, Wild Rose would be the largest entertainment resort in Bulgaria.

The complex will include two golf courses with 18 holes each, two other smaller golf courses, a sports center with a track, tennis courts, soccer fields, swimming...

On June 24th, Midsummer’s Day or Enyovden that celebrates the summer solstice, the Solar Hall of the National Museum of History hosted the inaugural ceremony for the first five Bulgarian entries that will be included in the Bulgarian Representative List of Live Human Treasures. These include fire dancing, singing in two voices in the town of Nedelino, the ‘kalusha’ ritual dancing from the village of Hurletz, Northwestern Bulgaria, the traditional Vassilishka wedding from the town of Momin...
