Climbing walls factory to be built in Northern Bulgaria

Walltopia, the Bulgarian manufacturer of artificial climbing walls and holds, said it has broken ground for the construction of a new factory in the town of Letnitsa, Northern Bulgaria. Total investment is seen at 8 mln levs. The investor said production area of 3,800 sq m will be delivered during the first phase of construction at an estimated cost of 2.5 mln levs. The factory should be operational in 18 months. Shiroka Luka Festival to Kick off This Weekend

The annual traditional folklore festival in the Rhodopi Mountains village of Shiroka luka will be held on March 1-2 this year. The festival is known worldwide and well-attended by Bulgarians from all over the country and foreigners from all ends of the world.

The event is held annually in March, with "koukeri" dancers (traditional Bulgarian mummers) gathering from many villages and performing in the picturesque Rhodopi village of Shiroka luka.

Varna Presented on Berlin Tourism Market Expo

Varna will be presented with its own stand on the tourism market expo in Berlin, which will conduct from March 5 -9.
The Berlin Expo is the most significant tourist forum in world wide range, addressed as to professionals, so for the mass audience.

215 Million EUR for Tourism Development

215 million EUR for tourism development are previewed by Operative program ‘Regional Development', the executive director of National Tourism Board Polly Karastoyanova announced.
One share of these resources will be used for building and modernizing of infrastructure in Bulgaria. First projects are expected to be approved in a month, and the realization to start in a month and a half.

Thracian Art Museum Centre to be Opened in Eastern Rhodopes

Museum centre for Thracian Art, a free aid by the Japanese government will be built in Eastern Rhodope Mountain.
The auction for execution of the project was won by Iwata Chizaki Kensetsu company, based in Hokkaido.

According to the preliminary plan, representatives of the consultant firm and of the company executor will start work on the project in Haskovo area at the end of march.
