Haskovo, Kardjali and Odin will be inserted in a united tourism destination and will present a mutual tourism product next year.

This idea will be realized in 2009 by the heads of the three regions.

They held a meeting at the International Tourism and Adventures Fair, which opened doors in Istanbul today.

Haskovo and Kardjali regions present their tourism product on 18 square metres. Their exposition stresses mainly on the cultural and historical tourism in Haskovo.

Three of the measures under the Program for rural development - “Diversification of the non-agricultural activities”, “Support for the creation of micro-enterprises” and “Promotion of tourist activities” were presented within the 'Tourism and Leisure Fair' in Varna.

Their total budget for this year is 900 M EUR. The first measure supports rural tourism, local crafts, infrastructure projects and all investments not connected to agriculture.

Sofia Jazz Peak international jazz festival starts next week, on February 22 in Bulgaria's capital.
World famous jazz virtuosi will perform on the fest that will continue next three months.

The spring edition of the amazing jazz event will be officially opened by the Germans from BuJazzO.

On April 11 the young and highly talented Eliane Elias will fascinate the public in Hall 1 in National Palace of Culture (NDK).

The start of the Black Sea Golf&Country Club development in the coastal village of Kableshkovo is facing a fresh delay as the Pomorie municipality and NGB Consulting continue to wrangle over the participation of the local government in Cabland, the joint venture specially incorporated for the purposes of the project.

Bulgarian wine makers boosted exports by 3-4 mln liters to 113 mln liters in '07, shows data of the National Revenue Agency and the customs administration. Over 81 mln liters were shipped outside the EU, mainly to Russia and the former Soviet republics. Poland, the UK, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Germany were the most receptive markets in the EU where sales reached 32 mln liters.
