Sofia Hosts UNESCO Forum

Bulgaria's Government accepted an agreement project between Bulgaria and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in relation with the Second extremely session of UNESCO's Intergovernmental Commission.
The forum will be devoted to the protection of non-material cultural heritage.

The event will take place on February 18-22 in Bulgaria's capital, informed from the Council of Ministers.

J&B start party campaign to turn Bulgaria capital into a party centre

Bulgaria's capital has been on the schedule for J&B Scotch's “Start a Party” worldwide party calendar, a company media statement said. Sofia would be turned into the world's party capital after Istanbul, Bucharest, Lisbon, Mexico, Seoul and Beijing.

More than 60 000 Hungarian tourists in Bulgaria last year

More than 60 000 Hungarian tourists visited Bulgaria last year. The information was announced by the Yordan Yordanov, the consul of honour of Hungary in Varna.

He said that there were periods when Hungarians stopped visiting Bulgaria but now the number of the tourists vastly increases.

The Government will have a sole proprietorship of the new company “Golf Development”

The government decided to set a sole proprietorship “Golf Development” with 100 per cent governmental capital, this was announced by the governmental information service. It will work on the projection, building, and exploitation of golf complexes, including golf courses, service buildings and equipment and etc.

Days of Bulgarian Culture Opened in Australia

Today in prestigious Hellenic Club in Australian capital Canberra the Bulgarian ambassador Liubomir Todorov opened the Days of Bulgarian Culture in Australia for the first time.
