Bulgaria Attends the Biggest Tourism Expo in UK

State Agency of Tourism (SAT) organizes presentation of Bulgaria on the International Tourism Market Destinations in the period January 31- February 3, 2008 in expo center Earls Court, London.
Destinations - London is the biggest tourist fair on British market for mass public.

Bulgarian stand, covering 24 square meters is located near the central expo entrance.

UK is goal market for Bulgaria with significant potential and customer demanding of various tourism products.

Bulgarian tycoon, city of Karlovo agree on Bania spa development

Local businessman Hristo Kovachki and the Karlovo municipality have reached an agreement on the paying-up of the authorised capital of their joint venture Bania Golf and Spa Resort.
The municipality owns 34% of the JV, established as a public-private partnership in mid-2007. It has contributed to the balance sheet of the JV 22 land plots and buildings in Bania. The residual equity is held by the private partner.

Vratsa Region will open office in Brussels

The regional council for development of Vratsa plans the opening of an office in Brussels. The initiative was overtaken a year ago and imminent local citizens as Bilyana Raeva and the regional counselor of Vratsa Mr. Antionio Georgiev supported the idea. The idea plans the office to exhibit the opportunities for development of Vratsa region on tourism and cultural- historical, natural heritage and investments.
The official proposal will be made on the regular meeting of the counsel.

Pleven and Olt /Romania/ Regions will start a project for the development of alternative tourism

Pleven and Olt /Romania/ Regions will start a project for the development of alternative tourism. This was announced by the head of the project Mr Stilian Varbanov. The main goal of the project is to use the natural, historical and ecology resources of the two neighboring regions, situated on the both banks of the Danube River. Sofia International Film Fest Obsesses Bulgaria's Capital in March

The 12th edition of International Sofia Film Fest starts on March 6-16 with additional program on March 17 to March 23 in Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas.
The fest includes 100 movies, 20 documentary and 60 short movies.
The film marathon will be opened on March 6 in Hall 1 of National Palace of Culture (NDK) with a movie of famous Bulgarian director Rangel Vulchanov called ‘And Where Do We Go Today'.

Main accent on this year's edition will be placed on the contemporary Russian...
