Yachts exhibition at Plovdiv International Fair

Plovdiv International Fair prepares for the yachts and water sports equipment exhibition. Sofia’s hotels with 15%-20% more reservations compared to previous New Year’s Eve

Hotels in Sofia report about 15%-20% more reservations compared to the previous New Year’s Eve, “Tourism Service” Municipality Organization director Stoyan Lazarov stated.
Many foreigners came to welcome the New Year’s Eve in Sofia and booked rooms in Sofia hotels.
The winter resorts, close to the capital are wholly booked as well, Lazarov commented.

Foreign Tourist Arrivals in Bulgaria Increase with 30%

The number of foreign tourists, who visited Bulgaria in 2007, is expected to total up to 6 million, marking a 30% increase over 2006.
The forecast was made by Blagoy Ragin, head of the Bulgarian hotel and restaurant association, who spoke in the town of Chepelare.
