The company plains to expand the International Youth Centre in Primorsko. A new 4-star hotel complex with 5-6 thousand beds will be built on the present vacation village.

Albena Ltd also plains to renovate Albena Resort. The investments are about 40 mln Euro. The 5-star hotel Flamingo is under construction now and Gergana, Panorama and Magnolia hotels as well as Kaliakra restaurant will be renovated later on.

The north-eastern resort ‘Albena' will be presented in 18 of the biggest Romanian cities in order to attract more Romanian tourists, the resort vice-director ‘Sales' Sonia Stoycheva announced.
The Romanian market is the most dynamic developing one for the resort in the last 3 years.

In 2006 the ‘Pearl of Bulgarian Seaside' have been visited by 15, 000 Romanians, in 2007 by 30, 000 Romanian citizens and in the present year their growth is expected to leap with another 20-30%, Stoycheva...

An encyclopedia of Bulgarian national cuisine will be composed and presented to the end of 2009.
The idea comes from ‘Evro - Tok' Bulgaria, which is part of the European Cooks Organization.

The unique encyclopedia will contain authentic recipes of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers from all Bulgaria regions.

In order to be gathered as much as possible national Bulgarian recipes, the organizers will make a culinary expedition to all regions of Bulgaria in the summer.

Spanish hotel giant Barcelo Hotels and Resorts, which entered the Bulgarian market in 2005, said it will add a new hotel to its local operation.

The Barcelo Primorsko Beach hotel in coastal city Primorsko, the third branded by the Spanish chain in Bulgaria, will open for business in June this year.

The four-star hotel, located 5 km from a golf resort currently under development, will offer 180 double rooms and 100 suites.

Sofia's municipality will be shown at the biggest tourism exhibition in the Czech Republic called ‘Holiday World'.
The expo will continue 4 days, starting on February 14.

Bulgaria's capital municipality will be presented by ‘Tourism Services' operative program in common with State Agency of Tourism (SAT).

Main purpose of the municipality's participation is to present Sofia as tourism destination.
