Free Electronic Party in the “Borisovata Gradina” Park

Four international DJs will take part in the event today - the Norwegian Cave, D.A.V.E The Drummer from great Britain, the German Martina Montana and Leo Laker a.k.a. Switchblade from Finland.

Bansko fell in love with Kamelia Todorova

Japanese star amazed by the ethno exotic at the foot of the Pirin Mountain

Summer thunderstorm raised the adrenalin of Kamelia Todorova yesterday in Bansko. Under the warm sun beams the famous lady made a prefect rehearsal at the town’s square. A New Discovery in Perperikon

Archeologists discovered the mediaeval castle of the ruler of Rodopi. The ruins of the castle are at the top of Perperikon – near the only tower in the rock town. Ideally shaped rooms and corridors were revealed, and three meters of the basics of the buildings are saved.
According the wards of Prof. Ovcharov most likely it is a big mediaeval building 20 measures long and 15 measures wide. It is one of the aristocracy palaces, typical for entire Europe during 12 – 14 century.

Ancient Thrace Capital to Be Drawn out of Water Reservoir for EUR 100 M

The project to draw Sevtopolis, the capital city of Ancient Thrace, out of the waters of the Koprinka Reservior in central Bulgaria, and turn it into a top tourist destination, has been estimated to cost EUR 100 M.

Sevtopolis is currently located at a depth of about 20 meters on the bottom of the reservoir but has been found to be in an excellent condition.

Bulgarian Archeologists Unearth 1900-Year-Old Thracian Chariot

A team of Bulgarian archeologists has discovered a unique, fully preserved four-wheeled Thracian chariot, which is more than 1900 years old.

The discovery was made close to the village of Borisovo, Yambol District in southeast Bulgaria by a team of the Archeological Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
