The unusual high temperatures and the favorable conditions delayed the migration of the pelicans in “Srebarna” reserve, announced the regional eco inspection in Rousse. Usually the rare birds leave their nests in August.

More than 10 yacht marinas for more than 100 million Euro are planned to be constructed during the next few years along the Bulgarian Black sea coast. This became clear on the yachting conference in Riviera, held at the end of August this year. Some of the projects are already in process of construction; the others are still projects, awaiting construction permits. If the plans of the investors are fulfilled, we can expect a yacht marina in most of the biggest Black sea resorts in the country....

Streets and the main square in Dobrinishte will be rehabilitated, BGN 600,000 will invest Bansko municipality in infrastructure projects in the area. The perspectives for development of Dobrinishte as a spa and mountain ski resort put forward the issues for the access roads to the town and the need of public works. The new golf complex Lighthouse Golf Resort & Spa located close to Bulgaria's Black Sea resort town of Balchik is hosting the Mercedes-Benz Open Tournament, which started on Saturday.

Over 80 golfers from Bulgaria and from abroad are taking part in the tournament, during which the guests were able to see a presentation of the first compact SUV in the Mercedes-Benz family - GLK-Class.

The traditional folklore celebrations in Belogradchik “From the Timok to the Iskar” will mark 40 years jubilee this year, this was announces by the press centre of the municipality. This year the festival changes its name to “From the Timok to the Iskar along the steps of the Thracians”.
