Stereo MCs to Hit Sofia for Third Time

UK stars Stereo MCs are coming to Sofia for a third time to stage a memorable show at the Festivalna Hall in the capital. The concert will be on November 11 and tickets cost BGN 30-40, organizers said.

The authors of "Connected" are to present in Bulgaria their last album "Double Bubble" that is set to get them back on the wave of fame.

Bulgarian fans still remember the great concerts of the band in 2002 and 2005.

The Feast of Sofia

At the beginning of II century in Rome lived a pious Christian, whose name was Sofia. In her life she completely justified her name Sofia, which meant “great wisdom”. Her life was a string of good deeds. She and her thee daughters named Faith (bg. “Viara”), Hope (bg. “Nadezhda”) and Love (bg. “Lyubov”) who died as martyrs, were beatified saints.

Roisin Murphy Arrives in Bulgaria

The eccentric ex-vocalist of Moloko Roisin Murphy arrives in Bulgaria for the 400th birthday of Bushmills. The concert, which will mark the 4-century anniversary of the oldest whiskey in the world, will take place in Universiada Hall on November 6th.

The singer will arrive with her own equipment and a team of 15 people. The organizers from Bushmills Cotton records promise a grandiose show with many special effects and lighting.

Two Bulgarian Hotels Certified by ESPA

The Bulgarian Balneology and Spa Alliance held the first international seminar “Certification of Balneology Hotels in Europe”, together with the European Spa organization.

The forum was held in Sandanski and honorable guests were Dr. Kurt von Storch – quality manager of ESPA, Reinhard Petri – project manager, prof. Zeki Karagule – balneology specialist from Turkey and Stefan Sharlapov – head of the Bulgarian Alliance for Spa Tourism.

Bulgaria Plovdiv Fair to Launch New TV Channel

The International Plovdiv Fair is going to broadcast its own TV business centered program after the deal to purchase the TV channel "Evrokom Bulgaria" becomes final.

The idea is for the new TV to become a news media with focus on business topics and to also air advertisements with preferential rates for companies, which are exhibitors at the Fair.
