About 1000 Bulgarian and foreign tourists took part in the free of charge pedestrian tour in Plovdiv, according to the Tourist Information Centres data. The tour has been organized since September 2010.

The free of charge city’s tour takes place every Wednesday in spite of the small groups during the winter season.

Bulgaria is being presented on the international tourist fair UITT in Kiev, which takes place from 23rd to 25th of March 2011.

The country focuses its participation on culture tourism on the fair in the light of the all Bulgarian presentations on international tourist exhibitions in 2011.

The international airport in Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna will serve 19 regular routes in the summer season of 2011.

The summer schedule of Varna Airport enters into force as of March 27, 2011; the first foreign tourists for the nearby Black Sea resorts are expected to arrive on Monday, March 28.
