Bulgaria - Attractive Destination for Youth Extreme Tourism

A group of Russian bikers, making a trip across Bulgaria, dedicated to the coming 130 anniversary of the Russian-Turkish War of Liberation, will be officially welcomed in Sofia's centre by the vice-chairman of the State Agency of Tourism (SAT) and representatives of the Russian Embassy in Bulgaria.

Girls Go Windsurfing

This year is the second edition of ‘Girls Go Windsurfing', supported by Vivatel mobile operator.
The event is now taking place from June 26 till July 1 on surf base ‘Siroko', ‘Zlatna Ribka' (Golden Fish) camping site, Southern from Sozopol.

During these 3 days, professional surf instructors will launch free windsurf course to ladies.

Rose Oil Price in Bulgaria to Reach 5000 EUR per kg

Rose oil prices in Bulgaria could reach 5000 euro per kg, according to predictions of producers.

The current price varies between 4500 to 4700 euro per kg but it may increase if the global market faces shortage of rose oil, investor.bg reported.

Bulgaria is the only European Union country which produces large quantities of world-quality rose oil, representative of rose oil company Natural Aromatic Ivan Dimitrov said.

Archeologists Uncover Unique Find Close to Ohoden Village, Northwestern Bulgaria

Archeologists have uncovered a unique find close to the village of Ohoden, Vratsa, northwestern Bulgaria, a journalist of FOCUS News Agency reported.

It constitutes an agricultural instrument that was used as a gunflint in the past. It was found in the excavations that are made in the region after archeologists found a fully preserved skeleton from the early neolith. It is kept at the Regional Museum of History in Vratsa.

Bulgaria's Tourism Presentation

The State Agency for Tourism (SAT) proposed dividing Bulgarian tourist attractions on a regional basis as a way of presenting the country’s treasures to the foreign market. According to tourism specialist Diana Bozhkova, this would be the best way to show foreigners what Bulgaria has to offer in terms of tourism.
