Vratsa Proves to Be the Most Ancient Thracian Capital

This summer, a team of Bulgarian archaeologists will search for proofs to the thesis that Vratsa was the capital of the Tribali tribe where generations of Thracian rulers lived. The excavations will start in the region of Vratsata pass where the experts expect to find a 2,800-year-old settlement. If their hypothesis is proven true, they will disprove the widespread assumption that Vratsa was founded by the Slavs in 6th century AD.

Veliko Turnovo and Arbanasi Monastery - Hot Tourist Spots

A total of 73,000 tourists visited the Old Bulgarian capital, the city of Veliko Turnovo (Central Bulgaria) in the first six months of 2007.
The statistics say that almost 24,000 visitors went sigh seeing in Veliko Turnovo from January to March, 2007.

In the next 3 months (April - June) nearly 49,300 tourists visited the city.

Essence of Bulgarian rose consist in the newest perfume of the Italian brand Fendi

The perfume called ‘Palazzo' was presented in Fendi's head office in the centre of Rome Author of the perfume is Francois Demachy.

Except for the traditional Bulgarian savior, ‘Palazzo' contains also essences from orange blossoms, tangerine, bergamot, lemon, pink pepper and jasmine.

Fendi was purchased a couple of years ago from the French stylish monster LVMH.

Construction of Danube bridge 2 takes off

After a very serious delay of seven years the construction of a second bridge over the river Danube spanning the Bulgarian city of Vidin and the Romanian, Calafat, has finally been launched. No More Dancing Bears in Bulgaria

They are no more dancing bears in Bulgaria, informed from ‘Four Paws' foundation.

Just like in the Wild Wild West, you can find all kinds of wild animals in the bigger Bulgarian cities...but not any more.

One interesting tame animal - the dancing bear becomes extinct specie. Some people had invented a strange way to earn money: learning bears to dance.
