New Wider Road is Building between Danube Bridge 2 and Botevgrad

A new project for a wider and more convenient road between Danube Bridge 2 and Botevgrad starts today, said the Minister of Regional developments and Public Works.
According to the plan, the new road will be with 4 lanes total and will help reduce the traffic. The next stage of the reconstruction will focus on the water-power system to the city of Montana, comments the Minister Gagauzov.

Medieval Gold Jewelleries Found in Thracian Mound in Bulgaria

A total of eleven gold rings, three bracelets and a pair of ear-rings have been found in a Thracian mound between Bulgaria's villages of Topolchane and Kaloyanovo.

The artefacts were discovered in the tombs of three women by the group of one of Bulgaria's best archaeologists Professor Georgi Kitov.

"In 13th-14th century BC there was a medieval settlement near the mound," professor Kitov explained.

Green Suns Fest for Midsummer Day on the Shoumen Plateau

On 23 and 24 June in Natural Park “Shoumen Plateau” a traditional folklore festival under the name “Green Suns” will be held.
The fest will mark the Enyovden Holiday (Midsummer Day) in Bulgaria, which is also celebrated as the Herbs Picking Day. It is believed that all herbs, picked up through the Midsummer Day will have magic power and will cure all diseases and give power and strength to the people. Bulgarian Rock Capital with European Diploma

Kavarna (North-Eastern Bulgaria) is the only Bulgarian municipality honored with European Diploma by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
The proud Mayor of the seaside town Tsonko Tsonev declared that the Diploma is recognition for the municipality's work.

I appreciate that our efforts were estimated by the EU. This award will stimulate us to work harder and faster for the country's European integration, added Tsonev.

12th International Theatre Festival “Time” in Vratsa

Youth theatre fest will take place from 15 June to 18 June in Vratsa. There will be plenty of music, dances, arts and fun. At the festival many plays will be performed on stage, special art-photo exhibitions will take place and a workshop for traditional ancient China sports will be held.
