Environmental Tourism - Green Bike Tour

A group of young people from several European countries are taking a cycling tour from Bulgaria to Turkey to show the world that travelling and a good life are possible without much energy consumption.

French Tourists up by 15% in Bulgarian Seaside Resorts

The number of French tourists in Bulgarian seaside resorts has gone up by 15% in comparison to last year, Ivan Stanchov, chairman of the Managing Board of the Alliance Francaise – Varna, told Focus – Varna Radio at the opening ceremony of the a new francophone center in the Bulgarian seaside city.

The ceremony was attended also by France’s ambassador to Bulgaria Etienne de Poncins.

Final Concert at Bulgarian Jazz Fest to Be Staged at Mountain Peak

The final concert of July Jazz Smolyan Fest will be staged on 2,191-meter-high Perelik Peak in Bulgaria's Rhodope Mountains.
The musicians will try to set a new world record, playing in a century-old pine forest.

Among the participants in the unusual event will be the world-famous jazz musician Milcho Leviev and Plovdiv Big Band.

The organizers have not revealed how Leviev's grand piano will be transported to the peak.

Bulgaria to Get 100 Million EUR Yearly from Business Tourism

Bulgaria could earn round 100 million USD yearly from congress tourism, the Bulgarian MEP Biliana Raeva considers.
According to Raeva the congress tourism is one of the most successful tourist branches and the country should stake more on this sphere.

A business tourist spends few times more money than the ordinary one.
