Some of the world’s most emblematic metal and rock bands including Metallica and Rammstein are going to perform in Bulgaria’s capital during the Sofia Rocks 2010 Sonisphere Festival.
The music event organized by Balkan Entertainment and Marcel Avram will take place on June 22-23, 2010, on the Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia.

Kyustendil will host “Cherry fest 2010” during the next 3 days. The minister of Agriculture of Bulgaria will mark the official opening of the festival.
The festive program includes cherry exhibitions of different sorts of cherries and cherry artifacts. During the second day a folklore festival “Chereshchisa rod rodila”.
The third day will be dedicated to competitions for the biggest cherry, the most beautiful cherry stand and a culinary festival.

The Turkish low cost air company “Pegasus” will start regular low cost flights between Istanbul and Sofia.
The planes will depart from Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Asian bank of Istanbul.

Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey have renewed plans to unite their forces and launch regional tourist products as they struggle to overcome the crisis and attract more tourists.
