The Rousse airport attracts low cost companies

The airport in Rousse plans to specialize in servicing low cost air companies, as the Bucharest airport is with too heavy traffic, announced the regional head Plamen Stoilov.

The airport is operating since 1996.

The airport will be set on a concession and the opportunities for public-private cooperation are presented to several air companies. A great advantage of the airport is the possibility to combine river, railway and road transport.

Etropole will restore tourism attractions

Etropole will restore culture valuables and will construct tourism attractions for over 1.2 million BGN with the support of Operation program “Regional development”. After the completion of the project, called “A ring of singing bells, whispers an old legend for the Christ's cross”, the town expects to welcome thousands of visitors each year.

29 metres tall bell tower was opened in Haskovo

The bell tower was officially opened on 26th October in Haskovo. The bell tower will be opened for visitors from 10 November this year.

The new bell tower has 8 bells, which are operating by an electronic mechanism. Their ring will be heard in Haskovo every day at 12:00 PM with a different melodies. Five of Russia's top air companies arrive at Plovdiv airport

The presentation of Plovdiv airport and bilateral negotiations with the 5 of the biggest Russian air companies are included in the working program of the meeting between the Bulgarian and the Russian Civil aviation authorities, announced the executive director of the airport – Doichin Angelov.

Bansko - the World's Best Value Ski Resort

Bansko, Bulgaria's biggest ski resort, is the second-cheapest resort for British skiers in the world, according to new research by the Post Office.

Poiana Brasov in Romania came top in a study comparing costs at 12 of the cheapest resorts. At GBP 259.53 for six skiing essentials, including a week's ski pass, ski hire, evening meals and drinks, Poiana Brasov was six per cent cheaper than Bansko in Bulgaria and up to 20 per cent cheaper than Slovenia's Kanin resort.
