Bulgaria is an honored guest at this year's edition of the international tourist trade fair "Tour Salon" in Poznan, Poland, the Bulgarian Economy Ministry has announced.

At the three-day forum that began October 20, Bulgaria was placed on an advertising stand of 80 sq.m. It featured the country's Economy Ministry, 10 tourist companies and the municipalities of the Black Sea towns of Nessebar and Sozopol.

Three million visitors have viewed the spectacle until the present moment.

The unique audio-visual spectacle “Sound and light”, which is a special trade mark of Veliko Tarnovo municipal is turning 25. The attractive show tells of the most important moments from the Bulgarian history, through music and fine sound and light elements, enlivening the medieval fortress Tsarevets.

The spectacle has not more than 5-6 analogues in the world.

Audio-visual program “Tsarevgrad Tarnov – Sound and light”

The municipal tourism agency announced that all guests and residents of Veliko Tarnovo will be able to enjoy the sound and light show on 26th October 2010 from 08:30 PM.

The first show took place in 1985 in honor of the 800 d anniversary of the uprising of Asen and Petar.

Bulgaria's Economy Ministry is planning to present the country as a destination at the Romanian Tourism Fair 2010.

The international tourist expo will take place in the Romanian capital Bucharest on October 21-24, 2010.

It is usually attended by over 30 000 businesspeople from the tourism sector.

Bulgaria will take part in the Romanian Tourism Fair with an information pavilion of 110 square meters.

A brand new tourism information centre will be opened at the old Turkish post office in Vidin on 22th October this year. The tourism centre will service guests and residents of the town according to the Danube strategy.
