Bulgaria eases visa regime for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova

The Foreign Ministry has issued an order introducing facilitation of the visa regime for nationals of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova in an attempt to achieve an immediate effect on the inflow of tourists to Bulgaria.

The visas for organized tourists from Russia will be issued within 10 days of the date of submitting the applications compared to the current deadline of 10 to 30 days.

Cross-Country Mountain Bike weekend in Karlovo and the Rose valley

For the first time the Bulgarian town of Karlovo will host a Cross-Country Mountain Bike race (XC Open Cup) on June 12 – 13, 2010.

All of you are invited to take part in the event. Cross-Country Mountain Biking is the least extreme compared to the other styles of Mountain Biking. The adventure and the feeling of freedom and being with nature are all facets of Cross-Country Mountain Biking.

Eagle On The Danube Festival in the ancient town of Novae

The 3rd edition of Eagle On The Danube Festival will be held on June 4th to 6th 2010 in Svishtov city and the nearby ancient town of Novae.

The festival recreates the military life of Imperial Rome and its collisions with tribes of the Ancient World – Thracians, Dacians, and Goths.

This year the reenactments include participants from Rome (Italy), Lublin and Hrubieszow (Poland), Cluj-Napoca (Romania), and the local First Thracian Cohort - Svishtov (Bulgaria).

Aerodium at Sunny Beach attracts thrill-seekers

Are you ready to fly? Bulgaria's first AERODIUM already operates at Sunny Beach resort!

AERODIUM is a device, that generates a vertical wind tunnel where you can experience body-flight and skydiving in an open air environment.

The device breaks gravity rules and propels thrill-seekers by an air stream with a speed of 195 km/ h, up to 10 metres into the air.

For the first time this year on June 1st Aerodium opened doors at the Bulgarian Black Sea resort Sunny Beach.
