Plovdiv attracts tourists with a special summer, culture program

Plovdiv will host numerous culture events of local and international significance during the summer season.

The traditional Opera spectacle will welcome guests in the Antique theatre in Plovdiv in June. The spectacles will take place on 09, 15m 22m 29 and 30 June. Special gala concert will close the events on 05 July 2011.

Pirin golf and country club hosted tournaments of the Allianz Golf Open

Golf tournaments of the Allianz Golf Open started in Pirin Golf and Country Club on June, 11 and in Black Sea Rama Golf on June, 16.

Veliko Tarnovo participated at tourism exhibition in Hiroshima

Veliko Tarnovo will take part in the tourism exhibition in Hiroshima, Japan. That was decided at the meeting between Dr. Rashev, mayor of the city and the general manager of Association of Friendship “Hiroshima – Bulgaria” - Co Imamura.

Bulgarian wines, rose oil, traditional souvenirs and exhibition of local artists will presented Veliko Tarnovo.

At the meeting also was discussed Japanese tourists to be included in the themed route

Yambol to hosts Congress of the Federation of European Carnaval Cities in 2013

ХХХІІІ Congress of the Federation of European Carnaval Cities 2013 to be held in Yambol.

It was discussed during the “Kukerlandiya” masquerade festival by the president of the federation Henry van der Kroon and the mayor of the town of Yambol, George Slavov.

Yambol become a FECC member after the promotion of Kukerlandiya which already has an international participation....

Hissar is the new Spa Residence of the Balkans

The Bulgarian town of Hissarya was voted for “The Spa Residence of the Balkans”. The title was given by the Balkan Alliance of Hotel Associations.

The city has stunning nature with many parks and gardens with old trees, dozens species of plants and flowers, and no factories. The tourism infrastructure is also well develop – all season tourism services, 22 mineral springs with temperature between 41 and 52...
