Increased Interest towards Spa Tourism in Bulgaria

Small towns and villages in Bulgaria in which mineral springs are to be found, are already catching the eye of the investors.
Unknown until very recently names on the geographic map of Bulgaria are making the front pages of the national daily newspapers as objects of concentration of business interests.

Bulgaria's Tourism Going Online

Bulgaria had to spend more efforts in advertising itself online, Anelia Kroushkova, head of the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) told reporters on September 27. This was the same day that the United Nations World Tourist Organisation celebrated World Tourism Day.

Golf Course Project in Pravets

A golf course with holiday village and hotel will be constructed at the place of Pravets hotel complex in the town.
The project will take 71 million EUR investments. It is expected to be completed by 2010.

Investor of the project is Terra Tour Service, which is managed by Vassil Zlatev – ex mayor of Pravets and father of Valentin Zlatev, who is director of Lukoil Bulgaria.

Sofia Citizens to Reach Rila Mountain in 30 Minutes

The Super Borovets project starts with the construction of a cable car to the region of Markudjitsite for fifteen million euros

In three years' time Sofia citizens will need only thirty-five minutes to reach the ski runs in the winter resort of Borovets, because this is the deadline for the construction of the Rila Highway, which will connect Sofia with the town of Samokov.

Bulgaria's Thracian Gold Heads for Brussels

Bulgaria's State Tourism Agency will exhibit one of the country's world-famous gold treasures dating back to Thracian times in Brussels on Monday next week.

The tourism agency will use the awarding ceremony of MEPs for their contribution to the outgoing political year to show an exact replica of the Panagyurishte gold treasure.
