The ministry of culture will finance the construction of an archaeology base on the “Trapezitsa Hill” in Veliko Tarnovo. This will be the first of its kind building in Bulgaria. The building is situated on a total area of 250 square metres. The ministry of Culture will support the project with 300 000 BGN.

The archaeology base will be half dug in the ground to enter in the surrounding environment. A wide hall will be constructed in the form of atrium; supportive rooms for the archeologists...

A holiday complex comprising six villas will be built in the city of Madjarovo, in the Rhodope mountains, Southern Bulgaria, said Gela Petrova, the investor in the project. The small resort, with just 50 beds, will also feature restaurant, conference room and parking facilities. Tourism is one of the main sources of income for the area residents after the demise of the local mining industry. The state would allocate 17 million leva in state investment loans to the account of the Transport Ministry, the cabinet decided on October 25.

Of the total, 15.3 million leva will be spent on the overhaul of the electrical system of Plovdiv-Svilengrad railway and 1.7 million leva for a new multi-purpose bridge at Vidin-Kalafar on the Danube.

The ministry will use the remainder to draft project paperwork for the implementation of programmes and newly-built facilities, where primary...

A new recreational sports complex called “KABLAND” is going to be constructed close to the small town of Kableshkovo, Pomorie. It is worth 53 million Euros and is going to be situated over 2 million m˛ of land. It is aimed at elite, solvent golf loving tourists. This holiday village consists of 100’s of elite priced villas, hotels, pools, also a race course, some restaurants, shops, tennis courts, a casino, a football and polo field, and the golf course with 18 holes.

French shanson and old city popular tunes sounded in the emblematic garden in front of the National theatre “Ivan Vazov” on 26. 10. 2007. Music was accompanied with the murmur of the fountain and the human din. The site, where during the day aristocratic old people play chess and teenagers look forward for their love dates, became a centre of a lovely exhibition named “People and the city”.

The beginning of the event coincided with the day of the builders and the Christian holiday...
