Bansko Expects 800,000 Tourists

This winter, Bansko expects more than 800,000 guests, sources from the resort's Mayor's Office informed. The hotels and appartments for rent provide accomodation for some 15,000 people. When the hotels that are now under construction open doors, Bansko will offer lodgings to 30,000 holidaymakers.
The investments have exceeded one billion euro. Ten new four-star hotels will open doors soon.

SPA Tourism Conference to be Held in Plovdiv

The National Association on SPA and Wellness Tourism organizes a conference themed ‘Perspectives and Development of SPA and Wellness Tourism in Bulgaria’, where topical issues and opportunities for development of SPA and Wellness tourism industry will be discussed, organizers announced.

The conference will be held on October 23 at 1.30 pm at the Maritsa Hotel in Plovdiv.

The Regional Council of Vidin Takes Initiative for the Recovery of the Local Airport

The regional council eng. Krastio Spasov pleads before the Minister of Transport Mr. Petar Mutafchiev, to propose airport Vidin for a concession. The reason for the demanded cooperation are the particular investment intentions, notified from Bulgarian and foreign companies.
