About BGN 175 million have been invested in the development of SPA tourism in Bulgaria over the last three years. 70 four- and five-star hotels located mainly along the Black sea and in the vicinity of mineral water springs have been built. The game-breeding reserve in Zhenda village, Kardjali district, imported 20 mufflons of the elite from Brioni Island, Croatia. The animals were ordered by the State Agency of Forests previous year. They were bred in their natural habitat on the island.

“We are now in process of developing a new genofond for a blood refreshment of the population to avoid the reproduction between the related animals, inhabiting Bulgaria”, said the chief of the game-breeding reserve Fikri Ramadanov. ...

FCC Construccion of Spain would build the infrastructure adjoining the Vidin-Kalafat bridge under an agreement signed between representatives from the transport ministry and the developer, Investor.bg reported on October 26.

Under the terms of the 62.6 million euro deal, FCC Construccion will build a 15 km railway line, the electrical and lighting system, an international cargo railway station, the reconstruction of a railway station, four two-level transport links and eight bridges.

Foreigners are visiting Bulgaria for dental tourism more and more often.

Their visitings are especially planned only for meets with local dental specialists. Two Bulgarian stomatologists tell that in their clinic were inscribing mostly Italians and Greeks.

The ‘tourists' take a hotel room for a couple of days, go to a dentist and leave after that.

The dental services come out five time cheaper than in their country. In return the foreigners receive good quality.
