Pamporovo is ready for the new skiing season

Pamporovo mountain resort is ready to welcome tourists for the new skiing season, announced the resort managers. The vice governor of Smolyan – engineer Dimitar Krastanov pointed that all of the important infrastructure projects in the regions are completed. He assured that the new electricity station in the resort is about to start operating before the official start of the season. The draining canal for the refuse waters and the branches of the collector are already operating.

Temporary Club House Now Open at Golf Club Ibar, Dolna Banya

This September the European Golf Course Owners Association welcomed its first member in Bulgaria. Golfclub Ibar, the first Nicklaus design Golf Course in South-Eastern Europe, is a spacious, luxurious vacation place in the foothills of the Rila Mountain, located in Dolna Banya, just few miles away from one of the Bulgaria finest skiing resorts in Bulgaria - Borovets.

Sofia tourist region out on the international market

Sofia region is going to, jointly with Pernik and Kyustendil municipalities, promote their tourist packages on international tourism fairs, to which Bulgaria has been a traditional partner. The aim is to popularize this scenic part of Western Bulgaria, on its own merits, as an attractive destination with its own distinct image on tourist markets across the world.

Baba Vida fortress: a gateway across the millennia

The Baba Vida fortress in the town of Vidin, in Northwestern Bulgaria, has become the emblem of the city. The fortress has been used as location for many Bulgarian and foreign film productions, but unfortunately, at present, only a third of its area is accessible to tourists.

Dub Pioneers Zion Train in Bulgaria

The British dub ensemble Zion Train will be a special guest to the second edition of UTOPIA World Grooves. The party will take place in party-centre 4KM on October 25, announced the organizers from DS Music.
