By the end of the archaeology season, the “Strandzha” expedition, lead by Daniela Agre, studied the Thracian fortified home, known as “turis” during ancient times. The complex is situated in the “Gola niva” (bare field) in the Sinemorets land, aging almost 2300 years.
The expedition developed the southern wall with a fortification tower and found fragments from Greek pottery with preserved stamp. Parts from the roof, made of tiles of the tower were examined.

A sensational golden discovery was made in the South of Sakar Mountain by a team of archaeologists under the governance of Ph.D. Borislav Borislavov from Sofia University "Climent Ohridski" and Nadezhda Ivanova - vice-chief (National Institute Of Archaeology And Museum - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences)
The excavations were sponsored by the Ministry of Culture through the National History Museum, the sum amounting of 22 000 leva, announced NHM director Bozhidar Dimitrov.

Remains of a temple complex dedicated to the cult of Isis and Osiris were discovered in the Paleokastro region in Pomorie.
The temple dates back from the second century A.C., announced Burgasinfo.
The building was built on the grounds of an ancient Thracian pagan temple, claim the archaeologists.

International festival of East Orthodox Music "Nikolay Triandafilov - Slivenets" starts in Sliven.
The festival is part of the official celebrations for the day of Sliven - St. Dimiter's day, reports Sliveninfo.

Groove Armada, creators of cult hits like "I See You Baby" and "Superstylin", formed in London during the 90s.
