Amazing Archaeological Discovery in the South of Sakar Mountain

A sensational golden discovery was made in the South of Sakar Mountain by a team of archaeologists under the governance of Ph.D. Borislav Borislavov from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Nadezhda Ivanova - vice-chief (National Institute Of Archaeology and Museum - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).

“Bishop’s Basilica” in Sandanski – Official Opening

The official opening of the complex “Episkopska Bazilika” (Bishop’s Basilica) and archaeology exhibition will take place today in Sandanski. The complex with the remains of the early Christianity Basilica is situated right behind the building of the Archaeology Museum in Sandanski. The mayor of the municipal – Mr. Anton Totev invited the vice minister of Culture – Ms Nadedzhda Zaharieva, archaeologists and other guests.

Mini submarine explores Sevtopolis

An extensive research of the bottom of Koprinka dam, where the ruins of the ancient Thracian capital – Sevtopolis lie, starts at the beginning of November. This is the most favorable period, because the waters of the dam are cold and clear from the phytoplankton. This was announced by the chief of the history museum in Kazanlak – Kosyo Zarev.

Aparthotel Lucky Bansko Golf Tournament Took Place in Sofia

On 18 Oct the St. Sofia Golf Course, near Ravno Pole held the traditional golf tournament “Aparthotel Lucky Bansko”.

A total of 76 golfers took place in the event and all of them enjoyed the nice weather conditions, while showing their talents as separated in 4 divisions.
