The Scottish company “Braemar golf developments” will manage the golf course in Parvets, which is part of the tourism complex “Pravets Golf and Spa”, this was announced by the manager of the investor company – “Terra Tours Service”, Lachezar Todorov. The complex is now in process of construction and is expected to start operating by the end of 2009 and the golf course will start operating in 2010.

Twenty new Bulgarian movies will compete for the big prize at this year's edition of the Golden Rose festival. It will take place between October 3 and October 9 in Varna.
Head of the jury will be the popular journalist Kevork Kevorkyan.

The favorite among the contestants undoubtedly is Yavor Gardev's "Zift", which is Bulgaria's suggestion for the Academy Awards this year and has already won the Moscow festival's award for directing.

This summer archaeologists discovered a well-preserved altar from a large sanctuary near the town of Opaka, northeastern Bulgaria. The altar is decorated with images of grapes and wine vessels, which, to experts, means that it belonged to a temple to Dionysus. It was used by the local priestesses to perform the wine-fire ritual and predict the future. “Lufthansa” will use the airport for emergency landing

Experts have estimated that the realization of the investment program for Plovdiv Airport will cost 15 million BGN. The construction of the terminal will cost 10 million BGN and another 5 million will be invested in equipment. This was announced by Yanko Yankov executive director of the company.
