New Air Routes from Ireland to Bulgaria to be Opened

Irish national transporter ‘Aer Lingus' opens flights from Dublin to Bourgas, Easier Travel web site announced. This will be the first air route to Bulgaria for the air company and the state of Eire in general.

‘Aer Lingus' airplanes will fly twice a week to Bourgas, transporting Irish tourists to Bulgarian Black Sea coast, starting from the middle of June 2008.

Baba Marta Greets Bulgarians with Sunny Weather

All Bulgarians celebrated Saturday a centuries-old tradition - exchanging martenitsas on the day of Baba Marta and the shining sun spelled nice weather ahead.

Alpine Ski FIS Europa Cup Bansko 2008, Men

On the 7-8th of March, the Bansko winter Resort will be the grand arena of one of the most trilling Ski events of the Year – the EUROPA CUP Downhill for Men.

The European alpine ski elite are expected to blast furiously down the nearly 3 km long course. Alternative Tourism in Bulgaria - Still Learning How to Walk

Round 340,000 Bulgarians and 220,000 foreigners choose rural tourism in Bulgaria in 2007.
This was announced by Rumen Draganov, member from the leadership of Bulgarian Association for Alternative Tourism (BAAT) by the occasion of the association's 10th birthday.

The turnover from rural and alternative tourism in Bulgaria in 2007 goes to 130 million BGN (65 million EUR) from a total turnover in tourism of 2,5 billion BGN (1,2 billion EUR).
