Seaside Resort Primorsko Awarded for Unique European Settlement

Bulgarian municipality of Primorsko (South Black sea coast) received the unique ‘Golden Stamp' for unique European settlement.
The award was bestowed on official ceremony in the Art Gallery in Sofia.

The ‘Golden Stamp' is given to Primorsko due the ancient historical and cultural heritage of the municipality and the unique natural sights.

Last year the prestige prize was bestowed to 15 European cities, including Florence and Strasbourg, as well as 85 Bulgarian municipality...

Cheap Flights from Bulgaria to Germany

Flights to Germany from Bulgaria's coastal airports of Varna and Burgas will be offered by the low-cost carter ‘Germanwings'.
The flights will start in the beginning of May. The low cost flights Burgas - Kоln/Bonn will occur on Tuesday and Sunday.

From Berlin to Burgas there will be flights on Wednesday and Sunday. Every Sunday ‘Germanwings' will flight from Varna to each one of the destinations.

The offers are valid until October.

The first international cruiser ship for 2008 has landed today at Svishtov port
160 tourist from Great Britain visited Swishtow as part of the tour program of the cruiser ship "Johan Straus" at 7.30 AM this morning. The route of the ship starts from Passau (Germany).The program incudes visits of the cities of Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Svishtov and Rousse. International port Svishtov registered more than 19 000 visits for 2007. In comparison in 2006 the passengers were just 5 000...

Varna participates in the Romanian tourist exhibition TTR

Varna municipality will take part in the Romanian tourist exhibition TTR which takes place from 27th till 30th of March in Bucharest. The sea capital of Bulgaria will be represented as a candidate for the European Capital of Culture in 2019. The exhibition stand spreads on 12 square metres. Pictures of the landmarks in Varna will be mounted on the walls of the stand. The museums in Varna will be represented too.
